Bitch is Back!

Hey youz! I hope the post vaccination vibes are hitting you hard and getting you out of the house! We are so privileged to have our lives back; so many countries are still suffering. Even parts of Australia went back into lockdown last week!

Nike attended his first Pride march and had a great time. He still talks about it. ;P

As usual I've overbooked myself; WEEEEEEE! I’m still in Second City’s Conservatory online. So rarely are improv shows impressive so I've spared you the last few. When we get closer to the end of the year I'll start inviting you.

But this week I am performing my first LIVE shows since the pandemic started!

SHOWS ON THE HORIZON

I’m in a drag competition TONIGHT! (Thursday) Come vote!

Polly's Follies at 9 PM at Moby Dick bar in the Castro.

Hosted by my drag mama, Polly Amber Ross!

I'm also in a new outdoor drag show this Friday (tomorrow)

Drag to Adjust at 5 PM at

Glama-Rama Salon in the Mission.

My drag crew, Palace of Trash, will have its first show since the pandemic on July 24th (next Saturday) at The Rickshaw Stop at 8 PM, opening for the Jean Genies and Fleetwood Macramé. It’s a co-producers show but I'll be on a plane home at that time so please go for me! Buy your tickets HERE!

With The Stud gone, we are coordinating new show locations, one of them will likely be Oasis; stay tuned for more info.

I’ve been researching and writing for my new show, Nos Vemos Donde nos Caemos (We Meet Where we Fall) about tracking down my lineage. I’ll be performing an excerpt for Acción Latina, one of the organizations painting murals at the Mini Mural Festival outside of SF MOMA at the Howard street entrance (outdoor corridor btw Howard and Natoma).

That’s on Sunday, August 1st between 11 & 4; I perform around 2 PM.

It’s FREE.

Carlos Aguirre (Emcee Infinite) is working on the music for it and Paul Flores will be directing the full piece but this will just be a small showing of my work so far.

I’m performing a new mime piece in a show called Cirque Oui Et (circus yes and) on Saturday, August 7th at 8 pm at Stagewerx. This month's show sold out in advance so get your ticket now!

OTHER NEWS

I auditioned for Jim Henson's puppetry workshop in LA but I didn't get in. BUT -. I met Kevin Clash, (Dinosaurs baby) in the interview and he taught me a new simple tool to make my puppet mouthing better so that was awesome.

Next week I'm flying to New York to finish filming an anthology horror called Sinphony. I'm a horror buff so I'm pretty immune to gore but you'll likely find this preview disturbing if you haven’t seen it already.

While I’m in New York, I’ll be trying to submit my writing again since SNL’s mailroom didn’t accept my mailing. & I’ll be in the audience on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, the 20th! Look for me. :)

Remember SF's Dark Room Theatre? I miss it so; it's the place that brought me back to comedy after being lost in bar-land for a few years. I've kept in touch with Jim Fourniadis, the former owner, who's now on the other side of the country, and he cast me in a Quarantine edition of his ongoing parody series of The Twilight Zone. We made a new mystery horror. Check it out HERE!

My musical friend, Noam Osband, released a music video in response to DC comics censoring Batman & Catwoman's sex lives. Check it out HERE!

My metal scream training has crept its way back up the list; I wager by December I’ll have some power in my vocals. Sadly, learning ASL has fallen to the bottom of the list. Only so much time.

I’ll tell you about the fall shows in the next email. See? I told you I overbooked myself! Happy summer!
