Hi friends and fans!

My Techno-Logical show went really well. It was a ton of work, but we filled the house and streamed it and got everyone paid so it was a success.

And the show I directed in SF Fringe for Rebekah Khoy-Ghadosh was also a blast! Thanks to all who attended!

I've been teaching classes to non-actors again, which is really rewarding. Classes for corporate and individual rates are up on my site under Classes and Shop.

Now, here are the upcoming gigs I have lined up, as well as another show I directed that I hope you'll catch.

I'll be performing drag on Haight at the Booksmith, (the old Bindery where I used to perform my sketch show) on September 25th at 8 PM.

The theme is Book Slut, our favorite childhood books set to songs!

Hope you can come!

Tickets will be available at the door, but you can buy them in advance HERE.

I directed Natasha Kaluza's show, "49/51" and we're excited to present it @ NOH Space September 27th at 7 PM & September 28th at 3. Natasha is a renowned circus performer who regularly performs in her duo, Coventry & Kaluza, but in this solo show, she recounts her journey to discovering the art of clown. Come see it!

To reserve tickets, please email: coventryandkaluza@gmail.com

That same weekend, I'm performing in a children's show for Juliana Frick's company, Pinecones & Portals. The play takes place in Codornices Park in Berkeley and it's ALL IN SPANISH! In this story, Alicia is an immigrant child and discovers the wonders of a world without borders. It's directed by CoiCoi Duncan-Page, with whom I studied mime back in the day! I am playing the White Rabbit AND the Queen of Hearts! If you'd like to attend with or without a child, tickets can be found HERE.

If you don't wish to attend BUT would like to support families affording tickets for their children, click HERE.

I've applied to be in a sketch troupe at NYC's UCB school next year. I'm trying to dip my toe over there to see what kind of TV job I can get in the future. Wish me luck!

In October, I'm performing my first official burlesque number at AREA 54: A Pan-Galactic Alien Disco! Here's a secret: since I was a young adult, I've wanted to get a job at a strip club and expose alien genitalia and get fired in the same day from said strip club. I never got to do that so I'm taking full advantage at my friend, Cincinnatus' event! Come through!

I'm working several private events for Mystic Midway around Halloween. Otherwise, I'm still researching and writing my show about Helen Kane/Betty Boop. I've come across some issues finding footage and audio. Internet Archives is hiding a cd of Little "Baby" Esther from the public and I'm trying to figure out how to access it. If anyone has friends there, please connect me because they stopped replying to my messages.

That's it for now, y'all! Hope you're having a wonderful start to your month.

Let's hope this war in Palestine and all their suffering ends this week!

luv,

edna
