Hey friends and fans! How goes 2025? Nevermind, don't answer that.

For me, January was excellent; we premiered my drag mom, Polly Amber Ross's new parody work, Dragcula, at Oasis, to widespread positive acclaim. I still run into people who say, "I heard great things!" Renfield was best role I've ever played. We hope to bring it back next year.
In February, I had my birthday and my 20 year anniversary in San Francisco. I went to Costa Rica to be best man for my friend, Rob's wedding; that was really cool. I dyed the bride's hair and did her makeup day of so I felt useful some of those days.
I just got back from Fresno's opening weekend of Rogue Fest, where I reunited with my comedy partner, Noam Osband, (Brother Love) who premiered his heartwarming and very funny solo show, Circuscribed. And I gained two more adopted mothers, Beth and Lori!

Now that I'm back I've been directing a new play for 3 Girls Theatre, the same play that I was the dramaturg for last year. It's called La Mamá Chingona, by Marcia Aguilar Kailan, who through this and other projects, has become a very good friend of mine.
We are showing the staged reading that I directed tomorrow (Friday 7th) at KALW's event space at 220 Montgomery street at 7 PM. It will air on the radio at a later date. The actors featured are Natalia Delgado, Angie Espinoza and Carlos Aguirre. We're so excited; please come support new work written and created by females, aka bad bitches. Sidenote: I found out recently that the short film, (in)convenience, made it all the way to a film festival in Tibet! I ran into someone a month ago who recognized me and said my catchphrase from the film, "chaps!" My hope is that someone in Tibet remembers that too.

And this Saturday, March 8th, I'll be performing stand-up comedy at Beaux (2344 Market Street) for Wonder Dave's Castro Comedy Cabaret! It's my annual stand-up set so come catch it or wait another year!
Show starts at 7 PM. There will also be drag; yay. Come laugh with us!
That's all I have to report right now. Stay active out there and keep laughing at the absurdities. It's the only thing that will keep our spirits up in this grand fuckery we're experiencing.
Love,
edna

I spent a lot of time on my knees and I miss it.)
