Hey friends! I hope you're finding joy in the little things lately. Over here, Max Goof is cracking his knuckles because it's opening night of Drunk Drag Dizney on Broadway, at Oasis!
I've been working on this show for a stretch with this amazing cast and we're so excited for our run this month. Tonight is sold out, but don't worry, we run through the 27th on weekends and one Wednesday next week.
What is this show? It's musical parodies of Dizney classics paired with Drunk History, where the history is loose but the queens are looser! Come spend a night with us!
PS if you have dark mode on your device, my Max Goof above looks much cooler floating in space on a black background. :)

On July 17th at 10 PM, I'm also in my drag family's competition show, Polly's Follies, at Midnight Sun in the Castro! And you know you can always count on me to bring you the weird kind of sexy!
And on July 10th at 11 PM, I'll be in Princess drag show at Oasis, performing for a fellow Palace of Trasher, Will Power. It will be other-worldly!
August looks promising, in that it will be continuously distracting, which is what this grieving cat mother needs these days.
On August 3rd at 8 PM, a short film I have a small, weird part in is premiering at the New Filmmakers festival in LA. It's such a small role, if you're not looking for it, you'll miss me, but I'm definitely in there, having something really weird done to me in a group setting!
I may be co-producing a street fair with Mystic Midway; we'll see. I may be in a short film; we'll see. One thing's for sure . . .

I'm going to Canada for the Edmonton Fringe Festival with Noam Osband for another round of Brother Love's Goodtime Gospel Hour from Aug 15th - 25th!
(show dates TBD)

Then in September - October, we're goin on tour from Philadelphia to New York and even north of that!
You thought we were done preachin? Ye of little faith. Don't you know the world needs savin? Gawd wants us to bring the healin' and that's what we're gonna do, or my name isn't Sister Alice!
Now, the stuff I've been up to that you might have missed! (pics below)
I played a saloon owner in 1860, Frisco Flossy, for Jenny McAllister's 13th Floor theater company. My costar was Nick Dickson, playing my bumbling security guard.
Mondo Wonky at The Midway was such a cool experience, thanks to Scott Levkoff's wild imagination and our cast who brought it to life!
The show I co-wrote and AD'd with Sabrina Wenske and Razelle Swimmer for a secret party was cool! Unfortunately, the sound design element I was most proud of creating (a volcanic eruption) did not play because the sound guy thought a whistling noise from the audience was a feedback loop in the monitors so he cut all the sound out at the climax of the show! (pics by Reese Brindisi)
I returned at 2:30 AM between djs to play the freaking sound and it wasn't loud enough and they cut it short, but sometimes you just have to scratch that itch so you can sleep.
I puppeteered a giant hand for a huge display that Scott Levkoff of Mystic Midway made for the anniversary of Electroluxx party at The Midway. I was also part of a display he created at SF Pride this June. I played a purse! Now tourists from all around the world have pictures of them carrying me by my handle.
My drag family, House of Ross, went back to Marin Pride this year.
And our most recent Palace of Trash show, Screech of the MerThey was a splash!
Enjoy the pics. Hope to see you at a show soon!
Be kind to strangers; they're voting in the next election! Love, *e
