Hey friends and fans! I have two big shows coming up that I've been directing and I'm so excited for you to see them!

First up, it's my Palace of Trash drag show, Techno-Logical on Friday, August 15th at 7 PM at Oasis. I'm sure by now you've heard the news that the venue is closing at the end of the year. If you haven't, read here.

I've been wanting to produce this theme for two years so I'm stoked to finally do it! It's about the tech world we're experiencing. And YES, there will be electronic music, including drum n bass, of course!

I've been planning with a broken wrist and Covid the last few weeks, but I'm making the best of it.

There is a streaming option too - rare chance for you out of town'ers!

Also this month ~ Rebekah Kouy-Ghadosh ~ a solo character actor whom I've been directing for over two months has her show debut of "How Many Characters?" at the SF Fringe Festival!

Dates: Aug 10th at 3:30, Aug 16th at 12:30, & Aug 24th at 8:00

Where: Taylor Street Theatre, 277 Taylor, SF. (yes, this is the old Cutting Ball venue)

I really hope you can catch this show. We have worked very hard on it and she's moving to New York in the fall so you only have this chance to enjoy her talent!

And support the Fringe Fest in general because SIX more of my friends are in shows this year and they're all amazing clowns and performers! Check them out too!

Molly Shannon's "Oh Johnny;"

Klowndra's "Just Be Happy;"

Genie Cartier's "Box M;"

Kurt Bodden's "I'm Mad as Hell & I'm Gonna Take it a Little Longer;"

Abraham Dover's "Due to an Unforseen Apocalypse, this will be our final performance;" &

Gabriel Diamond's "Things you should know about my Mom."

Below are photos of things I've done lately: played a monkey at a fashion show for Pride at the end of June, played a bro at a Greek party, Marilyn Monroe at my drag mama's wedding, a medieval knight at an immersive event and then I broke my wrist and mimed the next day with a splint!

Oy. No more injuries for me; I'm done for a while.

Happy end of summer!

Love,

Edna/Tater
